If you missed it – in yesterdays tips, we tipped Jim Furyk to finish in the Top 10 in the BMW Championship. We were going to have another betting tip for the BMW Championship Today, but we have decided against that. We are just going to ride Furyk, and ride him hard.
We had two betting tips in the Johnstones Paint Trophy. Our first tip was Rochdale to defeat Crewe. That is one of those tips where in hindsight you’re mad you didn’t bet more – we went on and on about how Rochdale would win, and win they did in a 3-0 thrashing. We KNEW they were going to do that – darn it, why didn’t we bet more?
The other tip was Peterborough to beat Leyton Orient. Unfortunately Peterborough lost that one 3-2 at home even though Leyton Orient were reduced to 10 men. Hey – it happens. At least Rochdale was 6/4 odds for the win there.
Alright, let’s get to the sports betting tips for September 3rd, 2014 and we’re going to be doing 3 Champions Hockey League bets this time around. Tomorrow we’ll of course have the NFL starting up and will have Packers vs Seahawks Betting Tips. Just cannot wait for that game and we’re confident we’ll make some easy money on it.
CHL Betting Tips: Frolunda Gothenburg vs Geneve-Servette
We absolutely love the over 5.5 in this one, and the 2.05 odds has us salivating.
Both these teams have shown they can score goals, and their defenses haven’t looked solid. Geneve-Servette are a fun team to watch because they battle every game, throw everything up offensively BUT also are very weak defensively.
They’re going against Frolunda Gothenburg who have looked excellent offensively. These two teams already played and had a total of 7 goals. We expect similar there.
CHL Betting Tips: Sparta Praha vs Vaxjo Lakers HC
Another one where we like the overs. We’re getting 2.00 odds which honestly is a steal for a game that should be about 1.80 max. We had another 7 goal game the first time these two teams played – and you look at that one and think it could have been more. When you compare it to this game it’s like yep – going to be the exact same sort of game. That one saw Praha win 5-2 in what was a tight contest – and honestly expect the same.
CHL Betting Tips: Stavanger Oilers vs Tappara Tampere
We’re getting quite a good price of this one for Stavanger Oilers. Not to win – but the handicap. They played Tappara a couple of weeks ago and although Tappara Tampere ran out 7-3 winners it wasn’t as big a gap as the score suggested.
Stavanger with a +1.5 handicap is 1.85 odds which is a great price – we think at home, they can keep this game within a goal or possibly even win. Although the 3.00 odds on that are nice – we will play it safe with the handicap.
