TNF Betting Tips: Rams vs Seahawks

It’s Thursday. You know what that means.

Welcome to the beginning of another week in the NFL Season. We have had Thursday games featuring some mediocre teams lately – although that Bengals vs Jaguars game was an absolute banger – but now we have a rather huge game as the Seahawks host the Rams to kick off the week.

This is also the week where the Jets and Falcons go to the UK. Dear god. I might just sleep in that day.

This is a big divisional game in the NFC West. The Cardinals are 4-0, the Rams 3-1 and the Seahawks 2-2. Seahawks have only played one home game so far this season. They lost in OT to the Titans in a big comeback for Tennessee.

Seahawks are coming in off that solid victory over the 49ers. I thought that was more on the 9ers though who I think are still a bit off this season. I don’t think their QB rotation is helping them.

The Rams experienced their first loss and it was a tough one as the Cards blitzed them 37-20.

Sportsbooks have this one as a shootout, with the line at over 54.5 points. Despite being on the road, the Rams are 2.5 point favourites.

Stafford should have a good game. The Seahawks haven’t shown much on the pass defense front lately. Wilson is playing solid and I don’t believe he should have much trouble with this Rams defense.

Rams should also be able to run the ball against this defense. I haven’t been blown away with the Seahawks rushing game much this season.

Cards did a great job at stopping Kupp last week but I don’t think the Seahawks will have the same ability to do so.

Unless the Seahawks defense steps up big tonight, I feel the Rams should cover the point spread and win the game. One thing we know from Stafford too is that he never gives up in a game. He had plenty of deficits for Detroit but still kept chugging away. So even if down late, they will keep on going.

Rams -2.5
