xPts Betting System tips will be later in the week as there is still a game to play there with Spal vs Sampdoria tonight (it tipped the draw).

It was a 1-2 day for a 0.10u loss with the SPL Tips on Saturday. Hamilton/Ross County Under 2.5 got off to a brutal start when Billy McKay scored in the first minute. Surprisingly it took until the 2nd half for the goals to come in on that one.

Aberdeen shut Killie out. I should have been smarter there in regard to knowing how their defense performs against non old Firm Teams. Motherwell was a 2u play and they beat Livingston.

Eredivisie was a 1-1 day for a profit. Vitesse went down 2-0 early against Emmen when we had them to win, and couldn’t get back into it. We had the draw in ADO Den Haag vs Heerenveen however and thanks to Sven Botman scoring for Heerenveen in the 88th minute, it was a draw.

Interestingly I didn’t think Den Haag could get by the Heerenveen defense – or at least I was concerned about that – and they ended up only scoring thanks to a penalty.

EPL was a nice 2-0 day. We had 1u on the draw in Arsenal vs Wolves and that came in. Wolves were excellent in that game with 25 shots to 10. Had BTTS in Villa vs Liverpool and who knew we’d be sweating Liverpool scoring with just 3 minutes left??? Crazy stuff.

Overall a nice profitable weekend.

UEFA Champions League action this week which I’m beginning to embrace. Nice to take a more casual look and just go through all the games, rather than trying to pick out official tips.

Let’s get to it:

UEFA Champions League Tips: November 5th, 2019

Barcelona vs Slavia Prague: Surprise – Barcelona are heavy favourites. They’re top of the group and Slavia Prague are yet to win. Barca had a tight 2-1 game last time out over them. Barcelona come into this one off the back of a 3-1 loss to Levante. Barcelona will be missing Luis Suarez who is out for a few weeks. Barcelona have had some issues defensively this season. Worth a small play on Slavia scoring. 0.5u on BTTS at 1.95 odds.

Zenit vs Leipzig: RB Leipzig find themselves top after 3 games including that 2-1 win against Zenit. Now they head to Russia hoping for a key win. They were struggling domestically but got back in the zone with an 8-0 thrashing of FSV Mainz. However Zenit is a tough place to go. They are an excellent home team. I can’t see Leipzig winning. I’ll go 0.5u on the draw at 3.60 odds as I am conflicted between that and a Zenit win and that’s the higher price.

Chelsea vs Ajax: Chelsea got the 1-0 win over Ajax last time out in a game where neither team looked like they wanted to win it. Especially that second half – both teams looked completely bored out there. Chelsea come in off a great run domestically but Ajax performing well too. Honestly I think Ajax have what it takes to get a win here but after that last game, it’s hard backing anything. Ugh the odds just make it worth it I guess – 0.5u on Ajax or Draw at 1.80.

Dortmund vs Inter Milan: Inter got the win at home in this clash so now Dortmund hope to copy that. Inter have had some close games in Serie A lately and I think that comes to a head in this clash. 2u on Dortmund to win at 1.90.

Liverpool vs Genk: Liverpool thrashed the Belgian side 4-1 2 weeks ago and will be looking for more. They want to go into that Napoli clash in a good position. There’s rumours Liverpool may give their key players a break due to the City game coming up. Speculative bet of 0.5u on BTTS at 2.25 odds.

Lyon vs Benfica: Benfica got a key win over Lyon to keep their Champions League hopes alive. With only one home game left though they need to perform on the road. Small play on the draw. 0.5u on the draw 3.60 odds.

Napoli vs Salzburg: Napoli come into this one stumbling in Serie A with 3 games without a win. Really with Salzburg and their offense so far we’ve just got back the over right? Their games so far have saw 8 goals, 7 goals and 5 goals. So I’m good with 1u on Over 3.5 Goals here. No-one has been able to contain them and they will be desperate here to get something.

Valencia vs Lille: Big game for Lille who if they lose are not getting in any European football after Christmas. Personally I feel the sportsbooks are overrating Valencia here a tad. In saying that not much confidence in Lille. Small value in 0.5u on Draw or Lille at 1.83 but you can probably skip this one.
