It’s finally here – UFC 203. A card which has the potential to be one of the quickest cards fight time wise in the history of UFC.

We’ve got two heavyweight fights featuring Fabricio Werdum vs Travis Browne, and then for the belt, Stipe Miocic vs Alistair Overeem.

We also have CM Punk vs Mickey Gall with Gall by KO or first round finish getting a lot of the action.

Also on the card is Urijah Faber vs Jimmie Rivera and Jessica Andrade vs Joanne Calderwood. Both of those have the potential to go to a decision but those top three are electric.

Let’s get to the betting tips:

UFC 203 Betting Tips:

Overeem vs Miocic: This is a tricky one and it’s almost a Pickem. I’ll be honest since he’s been off the juice, I’ve found it hard to rate Overeem. I feel like most people he fights against give him too much respect in the Octagon and you just can’t do that. Rothwell didn’t do that and we saw how that one worked out. I just can’t decide if Stipe will do that or not. I won’t be betting big on this one, but I’ll recommend Stipe Miocic and I’d even go the full monty and bet Miocic by KO for the full value. Overeem got knocked out 3 out of 4 fights just a couple of years ago so I could see it happening again.

Werdum vs Browne: Crazy to see Browne back so fast. One thing I find with Browne is he doesn’t really evolve his game. Unfortunately to beat the top tier you have to do just that. Watching Werdum at the press conference made me feel that this was the most important fight of his life. Browne of course has that one hit KO power like most heavyweights. Usually I bet the underdog in a situation like this but the way Werdum talked at the press conference made me go with him. Werdum by KO.

CM Punk vs Mickey Gall: As a huge wrestling fan I want CM Punk to win so bad. So so bad. And I hope I’m wrong in this one but I’m taking Mickey Gall. Gall just looks so confident and at ease and relaxed. I don’t think the pressure will get to him and from everything I have seen he is a solid fighter. Take Gall by KO or Submission. I hope I’m wrong though and Punk pulls off a huge W.

Faber vs Rivera: I’m digging the underdog odds on Faber and that’s who I am betting on. Rivera will start out strong but Faber has been in enough battles and is experienced enough. I think it’s going to be a tough first round for Faber but after that he will take over and win the fight 29-28.

Andrade vs Calderwood: Calderwood is a slight underdog here and I like Andrade. The odds make it worth betting still. She’s a great fighter who is different for the womens division because she can and does finish fights. Calderwood usually starts fairly slow and I think that’s going to be the end of her – Andrade will start fast and overwhelm her and unlike Faber, Calderwood won’t be able to contain her.
