Today we have UFC Fight Night 160, also known as UFC Copenhagen.

It begins nice and early with the main card at 2pm EST and the prelims well before that so you will have to get your bets on quick for this one.

I usually preview the show on Fridays however I was swamped yesterday and didn’t ge tto watch weigh-ins etc so I never had a chance until this morning to go everything.

Let’s pop right in for the tips for what should be a great card:

UFC Copenhagen Bets:

It’s abit of a tricky card with some heavy favourites. However right off the bat I like Gilbert Burns to beat Gunnar Nelson. The only issue could be the weight change for Burns however I do think he is a much better fighter than Nelson. Burns has bounced back from that KO loss to Hooker and is looking good. Very powerful dude as well and I think he will come out swinging. Only concern I really have is with the weight change, getting gassed.

Tough one but I like Ion Cutelaba to beat Khalil Rountree. Cutelaba was very unlucky not to beat Teixeira as he gassed out there. I feel on the feet both guys are the same but Cutleaba will be able to wrestle this one. A lot of it is just about strategy really – you never know if they will stick to a good strategy or mess about such as Cutelaba trying to stand the entire time.

Looking forward to Alex Oliveira and I think he takes out Nicolas Dalby. Good to see Dalby back but I think it’s just where he’s from and to give the hometown crowd something to cheer for. Oliveira is an excellent fighter. He just is relentless and will be going at Dalby right from the bell. For all the rust Dalby no doubt has, I think that will be an issue for him and Oliveira will take this one.

I like Brandon Davis to win. He is a fun fighter with some good fights under his belt. I think this one is set up for him to get back on the winning streak. Chikadze just isn’t good enough to hang with him.

Going to go with Alen Amedovski and I expect him to do it by knockout. Funny as he is fighting the “White Mike Tyson” too. These two guys should stand and bang and it should be a good one. it just feels like Phillips is a tier below the UFC and will get handled here. You never know in a fight where it feels one hit could finish it but yeah gotta take Amedovski here.

That’s it for me. The rest of them the odds are crappy unfortunately.
