Saturday is coming up which of course means a great day of sports capped by UFC at night.

This weeks UFC hails from Auckland, New Zealand. The main event features Paul Felder versus Dan Hooker.

This is not UFCs first time here. It’s the third time. They were last here in June 2017 for that banger of a match featuring Mark Hunt versus Derrick Lewis.

Wonder if Hunt will be in the audience throwing things. He is not a happy camper right now.

In terms of betting odds it’s a pretty good card with everything quite tight. Let’s get to it:

UFC Fight Night 168 Betting Tips:

1u on Paul Felder to win at +130 odds. The way I see it is this is a real pickem. I can argue either guy to win. So it makes sense to take the odds here at what I feel is a nice value play. Felder is a technical striker and is very solid. Hooker is a bit more risky and I think that will be his downfall. Hooker would do better if he took this to the ground but with it being the main event I can’t see it. A stand up fight where the technical fighter will win out. Hard to bet against City Kickboxing guys right now though which is why we’re doing just the 1u play.

1u Double on Kai-Kara France & Angela Hill at +120 odds. Tyson Nam is nothing but a can brought on for Kai-Kara to look amazing. Sorry. Hate to say that but that’s really all it is there. I think France absolutely kills it here. He is fantastic. Tyson Nam doesn’t look like the fighter he once was.

Angela Hill isn’t as solid a bet in terms of dominance. However Loma Lookboonmee is a very raw fighter and this is a big step up for her. I just don’t think she will be able to take out a fighter of this calibre. I’m a bit concerned about Hill taking this fight on such short notice but I do think she has what it takes here. You could replace Hill with Yan Xiaonan if you want. KK has completely lost all motivation it seems and just doesn’t look pumped at all at the moment. She might be gone after this one.

1u on Marcos Rogerio De Lima to win at -140 odds. I mean the boy is a gatekeeper isn’t he? And you have to look at his opponent and see if they belong through the gate. Sosoli? I don’t think so.

Magomed Mustafaev to win. 1u at -130 odds. Love Mustafaev. Wild dude and scary as all hell. I’ll always bet him at below -150. Yeah his conditioning sucks – if he can’t finish fast then it’s a concern. So you may want to bet on the knockout here. Or hell a first round finish as that’s where the value is. I just don’t think Brad Riddell has what it takes to hang with Mustafaev. He is a scary dude.
