Round 16 of the Women’s World Cup is set.

It was quite a fun group stage but now we get to the good part

The knockout stages are always fun to watch and can pull off some real surprises.

They take place over the course of June 22nd to June 25th, with two games per day.

Following that there is a one day break, then there’ll be the Quarter Finals.

Like I said I’m out of the country due to a family emergency – in Scotland actually – but I will do my best to provide daily betting tips.

Let’s get to it:

Germany vs Nigeria Betting Tips:

Germany have a perfect record in the World Cup, although there has been some issues. Even though they recorded three clean sheets, defensively against Spain and China they didn’t look great. They ended things by thumping South Africa however.

Nigeria have been an interesting team. They were beaten 3-0 by Norway then bounced back with a 2-0 win over South Korea. They had a tight 1-0 loss to France.

As of this writing (8:30pm EST on Thursday night) there are no betting odds up for this game. I’m not sure if I will be able to post anything on Friday so I will post it now and ideally do a quick update with a betting tip then.

Betting tip hopefully coming soon and will be at https://www.Bovada.lv

(Advertisement but we have tested it out and have been quite impressed with it)

Norway vs Australia Betting Tips:

The winner of this match will most likely be taking on England in the Quarter Finals.

Norway got here after two wins and a loss. They defeated a feisty Nigeria team 3-0 however lost to France 2-1 in a match that the French dominated. They were a bit fortunate to beat South Korea as the Koreans racked up 22 shots against them with 6 on target. Two penalties helped them there.

Honestly Norway can probably count themselves a bit lucky to be this far.

Australia finished joint top in their group with Italy and Brazil.

They lost to Italy 2-1 but bounced back with a huge 3-2 win over Brazil after being down 2-0. They then thumped Jamaica 4-1 in a very impressive performance where Sam Kerr scored all four goals.

I said when I tipped Italy or Draw against Australia I felt the Aussies were a bit overvalued. Now I think they are being undervalued. They’re really coming into their own and I think they can win in 90 minutes here.

5u on Australa to qualify at 1.75 odds. 3u on Australia to win in 90 minutes at 2.30. Big play but I really have not been impressed by Norway. You can bet this at https://www.Bovada.lv
