Welcome to Wednesday, August 17th. Sorry the tips are a bit late today I just got back from a family trip.

Man – I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up on Saturday night around 11:50pm. I can’t bloody wait for UFC 202 featuring McGregor vs Diaz. I don’t even care about the rest of the card I just want to see that one so badly. I’ll be providing UFC 202 Betting Tips here on Friday or Saturday so be sure to tune in for them. Then we’ll also have WWE Summerslam tips.

It was a great week last week in both the CFL and Golf. We went 3-1 in the CFL and we also had this awesome golf winner:

wagner-johndeere

Of course while it was nice and all it could have been much more. If not for that dead heat we were looking at a $3,000 payout approximately. Absolutely gutting.

This week in golf I’m going to focus on the Wyndham Championship. Honestly it’s a bit of a tough one to judge. The odds aren’t as favourable as they usually are due to NONE of the top golfers participating. Most of them are taking a break this week.

I’ve got 5 separate picks for this one although not one of them is going to be a full unit bet.

The first one is previous winner Webb Simpson and I’m backing him with a half unit to win and E/W. I’ve always liked his form here and he’s coming into this on the back of some decent performances too.

The rest of the picks for the Wyndham Championship are quarter unit bets to win and E/W as we look for small profits this week – I’m on Brandt Snedeker, Bill Haas, Ryan Moore and Jerry Kelly.

Snedeker isn’t my favourite bet but I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t bet him. He just stood out to me a bit and even though I don’t feel too confident in him the math really justifies a small bet on him.

Same with Haas, Moore and Kelly really. I don’t feel fully confident in any of them myself but the math just dictates bet for all of them.

CFL Week 9 Predictions:

Hopefully we’ll have another awesome week in the CFL.

I’m going to take the Redblacks against the Alouettes although I’d wait to see what happens with Duron Carter. As of this writing it’s not determined whether he is playing yet. I’ll be taking them to cover the spread but if he is playing I expect the line to drop slightly so I’d wait on taking the Redblacks till we see what the spread is closer to gametime.

I’m also taking Stampeders +3 over the B.C. Lions. I like what I’ve seen from the B.C. Lions the last couple of weeks but I’m not sold on them. While I love everything the Stampeders have done so far this season. They’ve looked so strong and they know how to both adjust and adapt to a team.

I’m also taking Argonauts +3.5 and I’ll be hoping the QB has a better time. Kilgore was brutal last week with 5 picks but I hope he’ll be a lot more focused this week and get things going.

Finally I just find it hard to even touch the Roughriders at the moment and am on Tiger Cats -10.
