The LPGA KEB-Hanabank Championship takes place this week, and it should be a good tournament.

We came close last year with a 33/1 cash on this one with Pornanong Phatlum – betting her to come into the top 5. She started off so well but had a poor last day.

Interestingly we noted last year that Na Yeon Choi had a great finish and we should look into her again this year. She’s 30/1 odds for this one.

She’s been hot and cold all season with a win at the Coates and a win at the Arkansas Championship but she’s been so up and down.

We will be placing a quarter unit bet on Na Yeon Choi purely due to our thoughts last year. We had looked at her today and weren’t too convinced – but clearly she was someone we were interested in previously – and based on her form we’ve got to place a small wager on her.

LPGA KEB Hanabank Championship 2015 Betting Odds:

  1. Lydia Ko: 7/2
  2. Inbee Park: 17/2
  3. Shanshan Feng: 16/1
  4. Lexi Thompson: 20/1
  5. Ha Na Jang: 20/1
  6. So Yeon Ryu: 20/1
  7. In Gee Chun: 25/1
  8. Suzann Pettersen: 25/1
  9. Alison Lee: 28/1
  10. Anna Nordqvist: 30/1

Na Yeon Choi and Amy Yang are both 30/1 as well. Let’s get to the betting tips:

Hanabank Championship Betting Tip #1: Amy Yang

We’re going to take Amy Yang as our sole betting tip for the Hanabank Championship.

Amy Yang has an excellent course history here – winning it back in 2013. It went to a playoff which she won.

Yang actually played fairly well here last year on 2 of the 4 days. She shot a 69 and a 67. Unfortunately in round 2 she hit a 79 and round 4 she hit a 76.

If she can control her form though she’s good to get the win, or at the very least get in the top 5.

On top of that Yang is coming into this with some real solid form. She got a 12th place in the LPGA Malysia, and an 8th place in the Evian Championship. It wasn’t too long ago that Amy Yang also won the US Womens Open – back in July.

Yang has all of the capabilities to get us a win here and we’ll take her for a full unit. Yang is our only betting tip for this tournament.
