New year, new sports schedule.

This month is jam-packed with some big events highlighted by the NFL Playoffs and the College Football Championship game between Ohio State and Alabama. We’ll see the first three rounds of the NFL playoffs as we get ready for the Super Bowl on February 7th.

January will be a big month in the world of combat sports as well with Conor McGregor making his return to the octagon on January 23rd against Dustin Poirier. There is tons of boxing as well as some of the biggest pro wrestling events of the year, WWE Royal Rumble and New Japan Pro Wrestling Wrestle Kingdom 15.

All this plus the NHL will start their new season on January 13th, plenty of golf events, and much more. Let’s take a look at the full Sporting Events Calendar for January 2021.

Baseball:

We will learn who the next baseball players to be immortalized in the Hall of Fame will be on January 26th.

Basketball – NBA:

The NBA is in full swing and this month has some really great match-ups on national TV. Look out for Celtics versus Sixers on January 20th. Another great game will take place the next day with the Lakers and Bucks on January 21st.
