October is a good month for sports as the last few have been. This month will start to settle down as the NHL Champion has been crowned already and we will see the NBA and MLB both crown their 2020 Champions this month. There will be baseball basically every day until there is a champion as MLB is having their series at neutral sites with no days off.
Football will definitely pick up the slack left by those other sports as the NFL and College Football will both be in full swing. The Big Ten Conference returns to play this month and there are some huge SEC match-ups this month as well.
MMA has a big month as well with some huge UFC and Bellator events. UFC will return to Fight Island with Holm vs. Aldana on October 3rd and Ortega vs. Korean Zombie on October 17th. Bellator will have Cyborg vs. Blencowe on October 16th. There are also some huge boxing matches this month with events every week.
Horse racing makes a surprising appearance this month as well with the 2020 Preakness Stakes taking place on October 3. Other big events this month include the French Open in tennis, the G1 Climax Finals in New Japan Pro Wrestling, NASCAR Playoffs, F1, and much more.
