A profitable day with the EPL Championship tips yesterday even though we went 1-2.
Our win was with the Reading vs WBA game going to a draw. I felt either team would be happy with a point and it worked out that way with it going to a 0-0 stalemate.
We lost backing the draw on Hull vs Sheffield United. That result surprised me however as I really thought Hull would show some fight. They got thumped 3-0.
I also went with Millwall or Draw against Aston Villa. Alas Villa went up 1-0 after 30 minutes and held on. Millwall did fight but their shooting was brutal with just 1 on target.
Tuesday, April 23rd isnt the strongest line-up for football but I’ve got a couple of opportunities I’ve spotted.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton Betting Tips:
Spurs have to be down after that loss to Man City but I like them to return home and give Brighton a thumping.
They’ve put in some solid performances at home lately. They had that big 4-0 win over Huddersfield with Lucas Moura scoring a hat trick. They have the Ajax game coming up so I think you’ve got to expect a nice and professional performance from them.
Hugo Lloris should be playing which is a boost. Brighton will be missing Davy Propper which is tough. Harry Kane is of course still out for Spurs which is a shame but they have did a good job of picking up the slack. Son Heung-min has been looking impressive and I think he’ll get on the scoresheet here.

Watford vs Southampton Betting Tips:
The Hornets are coming off an excellent 2-1 win over Huddersfield, and will carry momentum into this game.
Joint 7th in the league is impressive and you know that’ll spur them on. They’ve got a game in hand over Everton and would love to make that spot their own.
Southampton are still in the relegation battle but are only ankle deep at the moment. They’re looking good to get out of it.
Gerard Deulofeu is absolutely killing it at the moment and you have to wonder if he can add to his tally against this bad defence.
Southampton lost a key game to Newcastle. They’ve been pretty good at bouncing back lately but they still struggle away.
This should be a good game. However I think that Watford will be the ones to take it. There’s just a difference in quality and Watford have been performing well at home. More importantly, they still have Chelsea coming up so they want to get maximum points out of this game. Defensively they aren’t too bad away while Southampton struggle to score. Not sure if Yan Valery will be playing here but hopefully not. I believe Angus Gunn is in net even though Alex McCarthy has recovered from his injury.
