Welcome to August 31st, 2014. It’s been a profitable month for us with the sports betting tips – even with the fact that we’ve had limited sports to bet on. We here at the SBT offices can’t bloody wait though because September brings us the NFL, then shortly after that is NBA & NHL.

Last night was UFC 177. We had Bethe Correia to continue her destruction of the Four Horsewomen and she did it in excellent fashion, knocking Shayna Baszler out in the 2nd round.

We also won in the lightweight division, with Yancy Medeiros defeating Damon Jackson – that one also went to the second round, where Yancy managed to choke him out.

And unfortunately we lost in a split decision with Danny Castillo, who in a tight fight lost to Tony Ferguson. It was a split decision but ruined a perfect night for us. Oh well.

Let’s get to the betting tips for Sunday, August 31st 2014:

EPL Betting Tips: Leicester City vs Arsenal

Transfer deadline day is looming, and things are going to be interesting at Arsenal. Will they end up picking up another striker? This result should help Arsene Wenger make his decision.

Odds of this one have Arsenal as favourites at 10/11, and a draw at 13/5 and Leicester at 7/2 odds.

We think Arsenal will win a tight one. Under 2.5 goals is very appealing and so we’re going to recommend that. We’re very tempted by Draw-Arsenal as well, and 4/1 odds on that are probably appealing.

We just don’t see Arsenal racking up the goals. You could always bet Arsenal 1-0 as well but we’re going to stick with those two bets.

Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 1/1 odds. Also consider Draw-Arsenal at 4/1 odds which is a nice price – 7/2 is probably fair so it’s a squeaky bum value bet. Bet both of these at https://www.Bovada.lv.

CFL Betting Tips: Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs Saskatchewan Roughriders

This is a game our CFL experts have been looking forward to. They think it is going to be an extremely tight game between the two teams.

Both teams are coming off wins. The Blue Bombers beat the Alouettes 24-16 while the Roughriders had the tougher B.C. Lions last week, but won 20-16 in a big win on the road.

It’s a tricky one, but the bookies point spread just seems too high. The Blue Bombers are +7 and this is a game that we feel will be very tight and end in about a 3-5 point difference between the teams. We wouldn’t recommend betting the Blue Bombers money line or anything – but we think the +7 points is fair to take in this big game in the West. Going to be interesting because a loss will be bad for either team as they try and change the unstoppable Calgary. Although really the West itself every game is good at the moment.

Bet: Blue Bombers +7 at https://www.Bovada.lv.
