A reminder that I have tips for todays Bundesliga games.

Today I’ll continue with the focus on the Bundesliga midweek action, before looking ahead to the weekend as of tomorrow.

We’ve got five games on the board.

Three heavy favourites in Leverkusen, Borussia M’gladbach and Bayern Munich.

Always a good time in leagues with the Winter break upcoming.

Let’s get to it:

Frankfurt vs FC Cologne Betting Tips:

Neither team is exactly killing it at the moment and both are near the bottom of the form table.

As for the actual table itself Cologne are 2nd bottom, just 2 points ahead of Paderborn as of this writing. Not a great place to be in. They are very offensively inefficient and that’s causing problems. In saying that they were just able to pull a massive win off at home to Leverkusen.

Their away form is terrible though and it’s the perfect change for Eintracht Frankfurt to get back on track. Frankfurt have been an odd team this year as they currently sit 12th. A lot of recent struggles yet this is the team who were able to beat both Bayern Munich and Leverkusen at home – and convincingly in both games.

Frankfurt do seem to perform so much better at home than away. If you go by xPts for example Frankfurt are the 4th best team at home and do also have the 4th best home record in the Bundesliga anyway.

I’m a bit concerned about Cologne getting that little win over Leverkusen and being able to turn that into something but with Frankfurts home form, I’ve got to take Frankfurt to get the win here.

2u on an Eintracht Frankfurt win as despite their current form, they do usually put the work in at home. 1.75 odds, bet it at https://www.Bovada.lv

(Odds on this page are correct as of 2019/12/17 8:02:55 AM EST but are subject to change)

And actually that’s the only game I feel that is worth tipping. I’ll give quick analysis of the other games but no bets:

Leverkusen vs Hertha: Leverkusen you would hope would bounce back after that shock loss away to Cologne. They’re too heavily favoured here. They draw a loat at home and so the draw may appeal to some, but I think we see a solid Leverkusen bounce back performance and would rather lean on them to win to nil if anything.

Freigburg vs Bayern Munich: Munich have been fairly inconsistent this season. Freiburg are an interesting team where they have some solid home results however if you look at the advanced metrics, they’re really riding their luck. Alas despite their home performances, Munich are still heavy 1.2 favourites here. This is one where it’d almost be tempting to back Freiburg or Draw at 4.33 odds. It’s probably an +EV bet but I can’t bring myself to advise that one.

Monchengladbach vs Paderborn: I mean Paderborn are pretty damn bad. However Monchengladbach concede at home a fair amount. I’d take BTTS here but at 1.50 odds it’s not a play and I am not super confident in over 3.5.

Wolfsburg vs Schalke I actually think Schalke might be able to pull off an upset here. However the draw is also a possibility and I wouldn’t rule out Wolfsburg winning as Schalke are another team who despite solid away results are riding their luck. Tricky one and I am avoiding it.
