Apologies for not getting back to regular daily tips over the last couple days. I was hoping to but the NFL took most of my attention. I ended up going 10-4 in the NFL over week 1 at Sports Betting Tips so if you are looking to bet the NFL, follow me over there.

It’s been nice to have the EPL back though with the main leagues following. I went 2-2 with Saturdays games for a pretty much break even day.

Arsenal/Fulham went over 2.5 and I am glad I didn’t go with BTTS there as I thought Fulham would contribute for a win. Also picked Newcastle to win and they beat West Ham 2-0.

Lost with Southampton and Liverpool -1.5. Didn’t mind the latter as that was an absolute banger of a match. Well done on Leeds for making it a contest and hopefully they continue with that.

I generally don’t tip cups too much but I want to get back into regular tipping every day so I figured I’d take a look at the UEFA Champions League games taking place a bit later today and I’ve got 2 tips.

UEFA Champions League Betting Tips:

Dynamo Kiev vs AZ Alkmaar: AZ are slight favourites in this one at about 2.45 odds to win.

Dynamo Kiev were decent enough in the Ukraine Premier last season although far behind Shakhtar of course. They have started off the year with a win over Donetsk and a draw with Desna.

Alkmaar, who finished tied with Ajax in the Eredivise last year, are yet to play this “season” domestically with them not playing in last weekends fixtures.

I’d rate AZ as the better team but you do have to wonder how much rust there is there. I’m good to take Dynamo Kiev draw no bet at 1.90 odds for 1u here. They should be able to pull off the slight upset I think. AZ haven’t looked too impressive in friendlies lately. And just look at how close they were to losing to Plzen.

It’s hard to factor in how fitness affects things of course but that Plzen game told me Alkmaar are not quite ready yet.

PAOK vs Benfica: PAOK are not a team to be taken lightly after that big win over Besiktas. That was a surprise and they then got the win over AE Larissa at home on Friday.

Benfica are of course the better team and have spent the money in the transfer market.

Benfica themselves have had to rely on friendlies however the different for me is I feel team quality wise they are much better and looking at friendly performances, they are playing well. They also won’t go in thinking this is easy and should treat it professionally.

1u on Benfica to win at 1.72 odds
