Atlanta Hawks at New York Knicks Betting Tips:
The health and safety protocols are really hurting the Hawks right now with Trae Young and Clint Capela not expected to play in this one. This team has actually been kind of feisty without them, but not enough for me to go against the Knicks here.
New York has their own problems, but their best player will be taking the court and that should be enough. Julius Randle really does it all for this team and on Christmas Day, at home, he should do it again.

Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks Betting Tips:
Giannis has cleared the health and safety protocols, but his status is questionable for this one. I’m not sure I buy the idea that the notorious workout freak will not be ready to go for this one, but for the sake of argument let’s just say he’s not going to play. Well, the Bucks still have Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton who are two of the three best players in this game. They have won two straight, they are at home, and DeMarcus Cousins has really been doing something special over the last two games.
The Celtics have lost five of their past eight games and have just a 16-16 record on the season. I see one of these teams as a championship contender. The other one is second round at best. Easy pick for me.

Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns Betting Tips:
The first match-up this season between these two teams was really something special and they went at each other hard. The Suns got the win at home there and they are going to be at home for this one. Just a half game separates these two teams in the standings so this should be a fun one.
Unfortunately, injuries and the health and safety protocols are likely to make it less than a classic. The Warriors are going to be without Damion Lee, Andrew Wiggins, and Jordan Poole for this one. That’s two starters and a key bench player, plus Andre Iguodala is questionable. Being without some key players is one thing against a team like the Grizzlies, it’s a whole other when facing the best team in the West.
Phoenix’s injury sheet is pretty clean and they should be able to get it done here at home.

Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Lakers Betting Tips:
This is the one match-up really hurt by everything that is going on. No Anthony Davis, no Kyrie Irving, and most likely no Kevin Durant. That’s not what we’re looking for with a game like this. We do have James Harden, LeBron James, and Russell Westbrook.
The Lakers are just a mess as a team though and I don’t trust them very much. LeBron has lost a half a step and the team that surrounds him is not one that plays to his strengths. Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony are some all-time greats, but they aren’t the players that LBJ needs to succeed. This is proven by the Lakers dropping their fourth straight game to the Spurs on the 23rd.
Brooklyn is hurting, but James Harden and Nic Claxton should be enough. The one can easily carry the offense on his own and the other should anchor the defense in a way that causes trouble for the Lakers.

Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz Betting Tips:
The Jazz have to be one of the most underrated teams in all of the NBA. They are right there with the Suns and Warriors as the best of the west, but they are never looked at that way. This game should prove that.
The Mavs will be without Luka Doncic and, honestly, what is even the point of them without him? I hate how high this line is, but it feels like the right thing to do. Bet the Jazz and go to bed.
