This is it, the College Football National Championship is finally here and you couldn’t ask for a better match-up as the two best programs in the sport do battle. Both of these teams had undefeated regular seasons with only two games that even seemed close between the two of them.

This is a pretty elite match-up. Since 2015, Alabama is 55-3 with losses to Ole Miss, Auburn and Clemson. While Clemson is 54-4 over that same time period with two losses to Alabama. Whoever loses this game will have as many losses against their opponent as they do against the rest of college football. That is amazing.

Last season, these two teams met in the Sugar Bowl and the Tide won 24-6. Clemson didn’t really have the offensive firepower to keep up in that game, but with the emergence of freshman QB Trevor Lawrence and star running back Travis Etienne that doesn’t seem to be the case this time. This should be one heck of a game.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Clemson Tigers Betting Tips:

Alabama has the Heisman finalist Tua Tagovailoa behind center for this one and he has really been fantastic for them. He leads an awesome Alabama offense that could have some trouble with the Clemson defense on the ground. The Tigers allowed only 92.6 YPG on the ground this season so it feels like Tagovailoa will need to get things done in the air. He is definitely capable of doing that.

That said, I really like the Clemson run game here. Alabama dominated their opponents all season long, but they did allow 120.3 rushing yards per game on the season. With Etienne running the ball, I think Alabama’s defense will have some issues here.

The last two title game match-ups between these two teams have been decided by 5 and 4 points. With Clemson getting +5.5, they seem like the great bet here. I feel like they can win this one outright and getting the points is just icing on the cake.

NBA Betting Tips:

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies: The Memphis Grizzlies are in an absolute freefall right now. They’ve lost five straight and ten of their last twelve games. This team has two really good players in Mike Conley and Marc Gasol, but beyond that they are thin. They had some over performers from the bench unit early in the season, but those guys are coming back to earth now and the team is paying for it.

They play the New Orleans Pelicans on the road tonight and this team is desperate to get back in the hunt. Anthony Davis should dominate everyone here and I think they are a great bet here. The Grizzlies are just terrible right now.

Bet Pelicans -5

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Utah Jazz: I just can’t see the Bucks losing two in a row at home. They lost to the Raptors on Saturday, but there is a lot about that game that was flukey. Foul trouble for Khris Middleton that kept him out much of the second half and a 60% shooting from three night for the starters, those are things that are unlikely to repeat here. I don’t think the Jazz have the shooting to keep up with Milwaukee and I can see the Bucks rolling here.

Bet Bucks -5.5
