A 1-2 record last night.

The Bucks and Timberwolves was a game that we took the over on, but the teams just couldn’t get on the same page. They combined for 117 points in the middle quarters which would’ve been a pace that got us clearly over, but the Bucks scored just 16 in the first and the Wolves scored just 12 in the fourth.

We had the Knicks +12.5 at the Spurs and this one was really close, but we got the win. The Spurs took this one 119-107 so that half of a point really benefited us here.

Orlando snapped their nine game win streak with a win over the Pistons in a game where we had taken Detroit. The Pistons just looked sluggish in this one and the Magic made a lot of their shots. Just one of those games in the long NBA season.

Indiana Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls Betting Tips:

This has been a season of stories. Early in the year it was the upstart Pacers. Lately it’s been the red hot Bulls. Chicago has been great since getting Nikola Mirotic back and they have definitely made some money for us as of late. The Pacers did us well early, but they will be without Victor Oladipo who has been the real breakout star for them this year.

When you consider the recent trends, the home/road split and the loss of Oladipo, the pick in this one is easy: Bulls -2.5.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Tips:

The Thunder are heating up right now. They are 12-3 in December and have won their last six games. They draw a Bucks team that is playing their third game in four nights and is on a travel back-to-back.

Even without the travel and rest advantage, this is a good match-up for OKC. They beat this team by 19 on the road earlier this year and match-up with them well. The line is a bit higher than I’d like it to be, but the system loves the Thunder here so let’s go with it. Thunder -8.5 should get it done at home tonight.

Dallas Mavericks vs. New Orleans Pelicans Betting Tips:

New Orleans comes into this game in great form, having won their last three games. DeMarcus Cousins is having a hell of a season and he’s meshing well with Anthony Davis. They draw a great match-up tonight against the Mavericks who have really struggled on the road this season. They have a rough 3-14 record on the road this year, but have played better against the spread.

This game is right in the sweet spot of home court advantage and a nice line that doesn’t scare us away from taking the home team. We like the Pelicans -6.5 to get it done here and continue the Mavs rough season.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Golden State Warriors Betting Tips:

The Warriors are the class of the NBA. The Hornets are 2-12 on the road. This game is at Golden State. Sometimes these things just aren’t that complicated. Warriors great, Hornets bad.

Golden State -10.5 is a play that our system loves and so do we.
