I had a quick glance at the football taking place over Thursday and Friday but didn’t really see too much so decided to skip both.

For Satuday there is a decent amount of EPL games. Going to have that casual look through each game and give my thoughts and whether I see a bet.

EPL Bets for July 4th, 2020

Norwich vs Brighton: Norwich are one of only two teams not to get a point post pandemic with 3 losses in a row and no goals scored. Brighton got a win over Arsenal when Arsenal got complacent, drew 0-0 with Leicester and lost 3-0 to Man U.

Both teams are in the relegation battle. Norwich look likely to be relegated. Brighton are on decent footing. Brighton are a weird team where they draw almost all the time but it’s been enough to keep them safe. Norwich have Klose back which is good news for them. I’m not super convinced but with the performances of Norwich lately I’ve got to go with 1u on Brighton to win at 2.20 odds. If Norwich are able to motivate themselves then so be it.

Leicester vs Crystal Palace: Leicester have been struggling a fair bit post pandemic. Palace just had two tough losses to Burnley and Liverpool.

Leicesters xG has been pretty decent so they have just been a bit unfortunate. I’m not ready to back Leicester though as they haven’t shown enough post pandemic. Palace are no pushovers. I’ll do a small play on Palace or Draw for 0.5u at 2.10 odds.

Man Utd vs Bournemouth: Man Utd looked a bit sluggish against Spurs however have looked excellent in their two results since then. Bournemouth are struggling hard. Unless Man Utd get overconfident and complacent they should take this one fairly easily. No surprise they are stronger favourites here. I’m tempted by Man Utd to win to nil obviously but I’m going to do a small play on 0.5u on first half having more goals at 3.00 odds based on the way Man Utd have opened up their last couple of games.

Wolves vs Arsenal: After their loss to Brighton we have seen professional performances from Arsenal as they easily defeat Norwich and Southampton. Wolves have did what they had to do. Such a fun team and are deserved favourites here. I think these two teams will cancel each other out here and will go with 1u on the draw at 3.45 odds.

Chelsea vs Watford: It was all going well for Chelsea and then they lost to West Ham in spectacular fashion. I think we will see goals in this one and will do 1u on over 2.5 goals at 1.72 odds as Chelsea always struggle to keep a clean sheet.
