Quite the Europa League draw. That group that Celtic are in? Oof. Going to be something.

I’m still on Cloud 9 after our Galatasaray win. That was very impressive.

No SPL tips for this weekend as I got a bit confused about the schedule and didn’t realize there was 3 games on Friday. Plus COVID is wreaking havoc there it appears.

La Liga was a bust with just the Real/Villarreal double coming in.

Let’s get on with the EPL Betting Tips for Saturday:

EPL Betting Tips:

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace:

Rocky start for Chelsea. After that win over Brighton where you thought they were going to look good – they lost to Liverpool and drew 3-3 with West Brom. They had the 5th lowest xGA last season but were 10th worst for goals against menaing they are doing to keep letting them slip by.

Palace got wins over Southampton and Man Utd before losing to Everton.

Chelsea look underwhelming but having Mendy will help matters I think. As I said – look at last season and GA vs xGA. I think he will be a big difference maker. I am very tempted by Chelsea to win to nil but will go with 1u on Chelsea -1.5 at 2.10 odds instead as their offense should still bring the goals but I think they stop the leaks. For Chelsea fans and our bet – let’s hope so anyway.

Everton vs Brighton:

A perfect start for Everton now they take on Brighton who have lost to Man Utd and Chelsea. Nice to see for Everton with three solid victories over Palace, WBA and Spurs.

Their offense is looking fantastic. Richarlison we aren’t sure about as he may have an injury and they are missing Gomes, Allan and Kenny too. Some big losses but loving what I am seeing from Everton. Brighton look good at finishing though and I think we have the goals here. 1u on over 2.5 goals at 1.80 odds.

Leeds vs Man City:

First thing I looked at was last season and how City responded from a loss.Generally they respond with a solid defenive performance. They don’t hammer in the goals as much but I always hate betting on clean sheets even if the stats suggest City don’t concede any where. I’m going to do 1u on Man City 1-5 for 1.90 odds.

Newcastle vs Burnley:

Two losses for Burnley and they go against Newcastle now who started well with a win over the Hammers before losing to Brighton then drawing with Spurs. Some late drama in that one of course. I see small value in Newcastle here but looking at advanced metrics it is very close and I am concerned with Newcastles xGA. No bet.
