Well the EFL Cup was a bust. Honestly doesn’t surprise me. That was one of those tournaments that I was regretting shortly after I started writing. I had intentions of doing multiple tips but ended up just those two games and yep both losses.
Just such a hard tournament to handicap really. You never know how much teams care about it etc. Like the media make it out that none of the main teams give a crap but I think they do. It’s still a trophy after all.
I dunno I just haven’t been feeling the soccer tips as much lately. Just difficult with most teams not having played many games and COVID affecting it and all that.

Anyhoo we’ll look ahead at this weekends EPL fixtures. 4 games taking place on Saturday. Let’s see what we got:
EPL Bets for September 24th, 2020
Brighton vs Man Utd: It was a brutal start to the EPL season for Man Utd as they lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace. They will be looking to bounce back strong Brighton have a win and a draw having lost to Chelsea 3-1 but defeating Newcastle 3-0.
Brighton did get thumped by Man Utd back in June however they’ve been playing quite well and scoring goals which is impressive. Man Utd however have been great on the road with a good run goin gback to the beginning of the year.
Name value seems to have Utd as favourites here. I’m good with 1u on Brighton or Draw at 2.00.
Crystal Palace vs Everton: Both teams come into this with the maximum 6 points. Palace beat United and Southampton while Everton beat West Brom and Spurs.
Palace are pulling off the upsets and I love to see it. Everton look like they might be realizing their potentional. I do like the changes Hodgson has made to Palace to get them rocking more offensively. Defensive wise both teams are missing players. I’ll go with 1u on Over 2.5 at 2.20 odds as should be a competitive game.
West Brom vs Chelsea: West Brom have lost both games so far and are conceding goals like crazy. 3-0 to Leicester and 5-2 to Everton. Chelsea lost 2-0 to Liverpool last time out.
There is some real concerns at West Brom at the moment. Chelsea will look to bounce back after that Liverpool loss where the red card cost them dearly. I think we see a solid and up for it Chelsea here who show what they are made of. They’re missing some key players but I like Lampard to go for it here. 1u on Chelsea -1.5 at 2.00 odds.
Burnley vs Southampton: Still lots of rumours Dyche will be out. They lost to Leicester 4-2 in their only EPL game of the season so far. Southampton have lost to Palace and Spurs.
Not too impressed with Southampton at the start of the season. There was some real high expectations there. I see some value in taking 0.5u on Burnley at 3.25 odds to win. They should have Tarkowski back too which is good. They do have quite a few players missing though but I still think there is value there.
