It was a winning day yesterday with the EPL betting tips. We needed just a little bit of last minute luck however.

The big one was the draw in Chelsea vs Southampton. That one was 4.50 odds. It wasn’t looking likely until the 92nd minute as Chelsea were up 3-2. However Vestergaard was able to get the all important goal and tie it up.

We also won with our Everton or Draw bet and I will not say anything bad about VAR for a long time after that one.

Man Utd bounced back strong. Newcastle taking the lead was probably the worst thing that could happen to them honestly. As it is it still needed a late show from Man Utd to get it going.

Of course the most important result of the day was Celtic 0-2 Rangers. Celtic need to change something because my gosh they were awful.

Let’s look at the EPL Games for Sunday:

EPL bets: October 18th, 2020

Sheff Utd vs Fulham:

Both teams are winless to start the season. Both have actually played the exact same teams too so that’s interesting. Neither have really impressed.

Chris Wilder has to be losing his mind over the performance of Sheff Utd right now I mean he expected it to be tough but not this tough.

I thought Fulham were a bit better against Wolves. xG wise they were the better performers. Sheff Utd will no doubt see Rhian Brewster in the lineup. Ahhh I’m too conflicted. I was going to say this one will either be a draw or one of thoes random 3-0 thumpings by either team. I lean Fulham but I do wonder what impact Brewster will have. No bet.

Crystal Palace vs Brighton:

Palace got off to an incredible start but it has all fallen apart. To be fair it was Chelsea and Everton so you can’t be too harsh on them. They’re actually slight underdogs here.

Brighton are no pushovers and have been competitive. However I don’t hate Palace here either. I really want to do Palace to win but I do respect Brighton and so I am going to do 1u on Over 2.5 Goals at 2.10 odds instead as I expect them to be competitive.

Tottenham vs West Ham:

Spurs lost to Everton to open the season but man the way Everton are playing that’s not anything to be ashamed of. West Ham turned it around in spectacular style with wins over Wolves and Leicester.

Bale may start or at least make a sub appearance – probably the latter. Honestly with bale there I do think Spurs will win but its spots like this where I look at Mourinho and Spurs quite often and just think huh – this is a spot where they could blow it. Just one of those gut feelings that could be completely wrong. 0.5u on Draw or West Ham at 2.25.

Leicester vs Aston Villa:

Leicester are favourites in this one. Their 3 game winning streak was crushed to a halt by the Hammers. Villa thumped Liverpool 7-2 like we all expected.

If the Villa dream ends here then so be it. I’m completely fine with losing this one but I’m happy to do a small bet on 0.5u on Villa or Draw at 1.72 odds. They will all know how important this is in terms of keeping the momentum going and will keep fighting.
