A 2-0 record last night.

The Bucks played a bit sluggish in the first half against the Raptors as Toronto double-teamed Giannis early and often. They didn’t quite have an answer until they did and it was over for the Raptors. Milwaukee absolutely dominated the second half on both ends with a 68-47 final score. After the game, Giannis said that he was thinking back to game six of the Eastern Conference playoffs last year in this game and it showed. He also had one of the best quotes about Drake when he said “He cares about me. I really don’t. I’m just here to win games and help my team.” Amazing.

We also got the win with the Kings over the Warriors. This is a game that the Kings won by 18 that they probably could’ve won by 30 as they shot just 19/34 from the free throw line. De’Aaron Fox had 21 points here and Buddy Hield added 19 off the bench.

A game that I stayed away from last night that was a lot of fun was the Lakers and the Pelicans. This was all highlights from Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis. The Lakers won 118-109, but it was not easy and they needed 40 from LeBron to get there. This Pelicans team is really one to watch as I can see them being one of the best teams in the league in the next two years.

Dallas Mavericks at San Antonio Spurs Betting Tips:

The Mavericks are one of my favorite road teams to bet when they’re healthy and I like their match-up tonight against the Spurs. The Mavericks have a 12-3 record as a road favorite on the season and that should continue here. They should have Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis healthy for this one and this team needs a win right now.

The Spurs, it’s over for the Spurs. They’ll be without LaMarcus Aldridge here tonight and there is just not much here. They have a 11-21 record as an underdog (although that number improves to 16-15 against the spread) and are just 14-12 at home on the season.

Dallas has won the first two match-ups with this team this season and this game reminds me a bit of Kings/Warriors last night. The Spurs have had wars with the Mavericks over the years and they’ve won many of them. Now, the tables have turned and I think the Mavs are enjoying that fact and relish games like this where the tables have been turned.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Miami Heat Betting Tips:

The Wolves have lost five straight and 18 out of their past 19. They are not a good team and are barreling towards the lottery right now. They’ll be without Karl-Anthony Towns tonight and that’s about all there is to say about them. They are 6-18 as a road underdog on the season. They stink.

Miami is one of the best home teams in the league at 23-3 and are 22-0 as a home favorite. They’ve lost six out of their last eight games with all six losses being on the road so they have to be desperate for some home cooking right now.

Tyler Herro is out and Jimmy Butler is listed as questionable, but I’m not sure that matters. Miami needs this win, they have depth, they have better coaching, and they have motivation to win which is something Minnesota lacks. They are killer at home and I think they can win big here tonight.

Bet Miami -9.5
