Welcome to the free sports betting tips for February 8th 2016.

Well, it’s the morning after the night before, and if you’re a Broncos fans, you’ll be nursing the mother of all hangovers thanks to your celebrations. If you’re a Panthers fans, you will be, too, probably, drowning your sorrows. And if you’re a neatural, your hangover will be just as bad as you’ll have been drinking to forget such an awful Super Bowl. Sure, Peyton got another ring, Newton got outfoxed and the Broncos did what no-one expected them to do, but it didn’t help that aside from a solid defensive showing, the Panthers and Newton especially didn’t show the same fire and drive that they had shown throughout the rest of the season. So now we have to sit and wait for far too long before the road to Super Bowl LI begins.

In the meantime, we have the excitement of the Barclays Premier League. For anyone saying that the English Premiership is boring (and they would have been right for several years), this season has got seriously interesting, with Leicester beating Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad on Saturday. They finally shut everyone up, proved they should be there come the end of the season and have finally gone into favouritism for the title. And we can’t forget Spurs, who dug in to get a win over Watford that puts them second in the Premiership. Could we be looking at a Leicester vs Tottenham battle for the Premiership trophy? I would say stranger things have happened, but I’m not sure they have. Anyway, normal service was resumed on Sunday, when Manchester United went to Chelsea and played out a terrible 1-1 draw.

Now, let’s get onto the free sports betting tips for Monday February 8th, 2016.

Spanish La Liga Betting Tip

Last week we put up a tip for the Spanish La Liga, which seemed to please some people. We got a few messages saying they were pleased we were looking at the Spanish football now and then instead of just focusing on England and Scotland. Well, we thought we’d take another look tonight, with Espanyol hosting Real Sociedad.

The big thing here is goals. Over 2.5 goals is the play here. Both ship goals for fun, but they also know how to find the back of the net. Both sides will also be going for the win, as it’s a crucial match in terms of the relegation picture. A win for either side will help bring them closer to safety. Sociedad have found the back of the net in their last five away games, and have shipped 13, so all signs point to 3 goals at the very least.

NBA Betting Tips:

While the Warriors and the Spurs are making the headlines in the NBA day in, day out, the Clippers are going about their business with real professionalism right now, and all of this without Blake Griffin. They’ve just been immense defensively, and shouldn’t have a problem against the Sixers tonight, as they are utterly dominant over Philadelphia. The Clippers on the road are outstanding, so the line looks tiny considering the damage the tend to inflict upon the Sixers. Clippers -9 is the sensible play here.

Raptors -1.5 is the other bet I like for tonight’s NBA games. Why? They’re another side on a good run, playing without fear and they also have a recent win over the Pistons to fall back on. The important thing here is just to keep going with a side that’s in form, as we’ve seen with the Warriors. A winning run gives sides confidence and turns average sides into world beaters. The Raptors are shooting thinking that every shot is going to get them points, and the Pistons aren’t good enough defensively at the moment to stop that. The -1.5 line is a nice play, as there should be more than 2 in it for the red hot side from Toronto.
