It was a 1-1 day for a profit yesterday in the Serie A.
We lost with Bologna to win, however won a nice banger with Inter Milan to win. 2.70 odds on that one. Inter are just too good. What a team. Romeo Lukaku is incredible.
Looking ahead at non-cup fixtures, there really is not too many fixtures until the weekend.
So let’s dive into them shall we? For the major leagues I generally prefer to wait until they are a bit closer so we’ll look at Fridays Ligue 2 games in France taking place.
It’s fairly tight at the top with Lens, Lorient and Troyes all battling for the 2 automatic promotion spots there. The bottom of the table is fairly tight too. One of those leagues where a couple of wins can turn a team from the relegation zone to mid-table.
AC Ajaccio vs Grenoble Betting Tips:
Despite a little run of form lately for Grenoble, AC Ajaccio are decent favourites here at 2.10 odds. After two losses in a row, to Troyes and Lens, the bookies except them to bounce back strong.
I always say there are tiers in regards to football and AC Ajaccio hit their glass ceiling with those losses. 4th place is the best they can do it seems. They won’t be able to get one of those promotion spots and will have to rely on the playoffs.
If their home form could catch up with their away form they’d be stellar but they underperform at home.
Grenoble are mid table and not too shabby. Only 1 loss in the last little while and that was away to Lorient so that’s respectful. They’re draw specialists with 5 draws out of 10 on the road.
I see why AC Ajaccio are favourites, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they bounce back here and take their frustrations out on Grenoble. This was one where I was going into it ready to back the draw, however I think there is value on AC Ajaccio getting back on track here. I will be right pissed if this one is a draw BTW. They will be pumped after the winter break and ready to go to town.

Le Mans vs Auxerre Betting Tips:
Auxerre are arguably the better team however both teams are tied together in points at the moment. Le Mans have had some excellent form over the last little while, while Auxerre are struggling.
Le Mans have a brutal defensive record – worst in the league – the problem is Auxerre just can’t score! They are really struggling at the moment.
Have to wonder if the Winter break will affect things. Bookies think so even though it was a brief one as Le Mans are underdogs here.
Le Mans had a tough 2-0 loss to Bordeaux in the French Cup however they have looked strong. They lost 4-1 to PSG in the Couple de la Ligue and bounced back against PSG. I’m fine backing them here.
