It’s Monday January 18th, and what did we learn on the road to the Superbowl this week? Well, the Panthers are still not the total package, and their D really can suck when put under pressure from a top quarterback, that’s for sure. I’m sure most people were just waiting on the comeback to happen for the Seahawks. Thankfully, for football fans everywhere except Seattle, they didn’t, and parity was restored. Yet another error cost a team, and this time the Steelers were on the opposite side of the luck. The Broncos continue their march to the Superbowl, too. However, like the Panthers, their performance wasn’t great, although it was mostly their first half performance which sucked, as opposed to the Panthers’ second half suck-fest.

In the English Premiership, very little of note went down. Manchester United and Liverpool played in one of the worst games witnessed by anyone in any sport ever. Even Wayne Rooney’s goal to give Manchester United the win couldn’t make the game any better. It was ugly, it was horrible and it should have been put to sleep for humane reasons. Arsenal went back to the top of the English Premiership after a 0-0 at Stoke. Leicester should have been sitting top, but they slipped up by drawing at Aston Villa. Manchester City look to have got into gear just at the right time and are now looking dangerous just off the top spot.

Now, let’s get to our free sports betting tips for January 18th, 2016.

English Premiership Betting Tip

Swansea vs Watford tonight, and it doesn’t look good on paper, does it? Swansea will be looking to impress Francesco Guidolin, while Watford just want to get some consistency. That being said, while it might not be pretty, both sides have goals in them, and they both also have the ability to leak goals. I would be temped to tip a Watford win here, as it does look value against a sub-par Swansea side, but instead we’ll go for over 2.5 goals as he selection and err on the side of caution.

NBA Betting Tips:

There’s one game we’re all talking about tonight, and it’s Golden State at Cleveland. A slight slump, if you can call it that, has seen the Warriors drop two of their last three games, and facing Cleveland isn’t going to make things any better. All the big names were there, so no injury excuses or the like against Detroit, they were just terrible when it came to scoring. And now that the Cavs are the form team in the league, tonight’s game has become really interesting. It should be tight, and although we think the Cavs could edge this, giving three points to the Warriors isn’t the easiest line to beat. Golden State Warriors +3 is the play, purely because their big guns aren’t going to misfire again, and they’ll keep close tabs on this hot Cleveland side.

Take Detroit Pistons -3 over the Bulls, too, as they look to build on their strong form. It’s amazing what a shot of confidence can to do an average side, and we’re expecting big things from the Pistons over the next few games.
