Hope everyone is excited for the weekend. We are, that’s for sure especially all of the NHL All Star action.

Quick reminder that we have two bets in the Mitsubishi Electric Championship. We have Bernhard Langer to win the tournament outright, and we also have Kirk Triplett to come in the top 4, at a nice E/W Price of 22/1.

We also have two bets on the PGA Tour that’s already had the first round. We have Zach Johnson and Jerry Kelly. Neither are lighting the world on fire at the moment – they finished under par, but really at that tournament pretty much everyone SHOULD finish under par. There will be a lot of variance however so we’ll just see how it goes.

Huge win for the Bulls last night over the Spurs. Nice to see Rose putting up the points.

We’ll have betting tips for the soccer tomorrow. If you are on our mailing list – unfortunately, the tips don’t go out till noon EST approx on there. So just be sure to check out the website late Friday night or early Saturday morning aight?

Let’s see what we have today:

FA Cup Betting Tips:

The big game, as Cambridge take on Man Utd.

It’s actually quite the interesting game. Man Utd have had their struggles this season including embarassment at teams they should have destroyed. However Cambridge United really shouldn’t be able to hang with them – especially with RVP apparently back. It also sounds like LVG will be playing to win with a good squad, as opposed to previous management. He really can’t afford any blunders.

Honestly, the best bet here is Over 2.5 goals. Even at 1/2 odds, it’s still a good price. I’m sure a lot of people will look back at Man Utds last FA Cup game against Yeovil where they only won 2-0. And Man Utd haven’t went Over 2.5 in awhile. But Cambridge will be fiery, and I fully expect 3 goals in this game moreso than the 1/2 odds give us.

We’d recommend a bet of 2 units to win 1 unit on this one easily.

NBA Betting Tips:

First one up is the Spurs, and we’re going to take them at Spurs -13. Not the ideal point spread, but we have them factored in to cover that spread just over 56% of the time – which makes it a +EV bet.

We like the Spurs to bounce back big, especially with Kobe out. Although honestly if you watch the Lakers – missing Kobe Bryant may not be the worst thing in the world. However it is very sad to see Kobe out – he is a tremendous talent, and it’s sad to see how his career has dwindled the last few years.

Spurs were surely read the riot act though and they will be out here for blood.

We also like Suns -2. The Rockets are a big matchup for them and honestly a tough matchup – but the Suns are playing some great ball. That win over the Blazers? Holy crap was that amazing. They got sloppy but they fixed it and turned it around.

Go with the Suns to continue this streak.

We also like Hornets +9.5. Don’t get us wrong – the Cavaliers bloody scare us at the moment as they’re starting to click. But Hornets are no pushover, have had a lot of great results this year, and surely can more than match the Cavs.
