Welcome to Friday, and the sports betting tips for today.

It’s actually a more quieter sports weekend with no NFL action, and no NHL action due to the all star weekend there.

Honestly it’s nice to have a quieter time of it! Not complaining in the least here. The past few weekends have been pretty darn intense.

We do have UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Bader coming up tomorrow night and we’ll have betting tips for that tomorrow.

Today however we’ll focus on all of the soccer action going on tomorrow as well as some NBA Betting Tips.

Let’s get to the betting tips for today – and remember with the weekend, our mailing list doesn’t go out until around 11am each day. So if you want to bet on any soccer games starting early in the UK be sure to check out our site for those.

Scottish Premier League Betting Tips:

4 games this weekend in the SPL with all of them taking place on Saturday.

The first thing we’d recommend just for fun is an all draws accumulator. All 4 game are fairly evenly matched to be honest. You’re looking at 128/1 odds on that which is a pretty solid price as all these games are close.

We’re going to take Dundee Utd to beat Partick Thistle. Dundee Utd are coming off that huge victory over Kilmarnock last week. If they’re going to turn things around – now is the time. Especially with them having a game in hand against Hamilton and Kilmarnock – that puts them at 16 points and within touching distance especially if they win the game on Saturday. This is more betting based on their motivation etc and the mental game than anything else.

NBA Betting Tips:

I wonder if this is still a big game for James Harden – either way we’re going to take Rockets +7.5. To their credit the Oklahoma City Thunder have played some incredible ball lately. Everything they are doing just looks right and their offense is clicking big time. It’s all about if the Rockets can go to the pace of their opponents. That unfortunately for them did not happen against the San Antonio Spurs on the 27th but they’ve had a day to regroup. With Howard back that upset the balance a bit too and we think they’ll have it all ironed out today.

We’re also going to take Nets +9.5 against the Mavericks feeling that point spread is just too high. Yeah the Nets have been blown out a fair bit but the Mavericks are so inconsistent that the Nets could actually beat them. Obviously Nowitzki is back and that’s probably helping the point spread but the Mavs are struggling. These two last played last month and the Nets went to OT with them. It’s just one of those match-ups where we think it can be close and that the Brooklyn Nets will see it as winnable and really push on.

That’s our two NBA picks for today. Enjoy your Friday!
