A 0-1 record with a push last night.

Yesterday in the write-up for the Clippers and Rockets game in which we took the over, I said two things: that it would take at least 122 points to win this game and that the game could go either way depending on the three-point shooting. Well, it took 120 for the Clippers to win and it went way under thanks to the three-point shooting. The Rockets shot 7-for-42 which is 16.7% from three-point land and that’s just about all you need to know about this one. I feel like if they played this game ten times it would be an over in eight of them, but shooting like that is just not going to get you there.

We were bailed out by free throws at the end of the Warriors-Raptors. This game was 115-113 with 1:03 left, but the Raptors got a big basket from Pascal Siakam and then made free throws the rest of the way to get the push. Steph Curry looked decent in his return as he scored 23 points in this one.

A tough couple of days, but we are still up on the year. Let’s get it straight today and get back on track.

Indiana Pacers at Chicago Bulls Betting Tips:

The Pacers are playing some good basketball right now having won six of their past eight games. The only two losses in that run have been against the Bucks and Raptors which is nothing to feel embarrassed about. This team is running well right now and I love them on the road against the Bulls here.

While the Bulls are 2-11 over their past fourteen. This team isn’t good. The Pacers are 12-5 on the season as a road favorite and are 10-4 on the season coming off against a loss. They are going to get back on track here and this line is way too low considering the talent disparity here.

Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Lakers Betting Tips:

Is this line a joke? The Bucks are the best team in the NBA and they are an underdog here. While the Lakers are a very good team and are on pace for 64 wins, I just don’t see why they should be favored here.

The Bucks beat the Lakers by seven earlier this year in Milwaukee and the entire narrative of this game (and this season) is how the Bucks aren’t as good as they seem to be. I don’t buy this narrative whatsoever and I think the Bucks will be motivated to show that here.

This is only the third time the Bucks have been an underdog all season and they have a 24-6 record on the road for the season. While the Lakers are 22-7 at home on the season. It’s a small difference, but the Bucks record on the road is better than the Lakers home record on the year.

At the end of the day, I just think that the Bucks are going to be locked in here. Giannis takes these things personally and I think he’ll be out to prove he has the better team tonight.
