A 1-1 record last night.

The Lakers got the big win against the Bucks at home last night as LeBron James just decided to go beast mode and will his team to win. He finished with 37 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists in this one. The Bucks had a good game, but it was the third quarter that really did them in. The Lakers did end up shooting fifteen more free throws which was ultimately the difference here as the Lakers won 113-103.

We did get the win taking the Pacers over the Bulls last night. They won 108-102, but the game wasn’t nearly that close. The Pacers had this one locked up after three quarters as they were up seventeen and then it was just a matter of holding on. Domantas Sabonis lead the team with 24 points and 12 rebounds.

Atlanta Hawks at Memphis Grizzlies Betting Tips:

We got a win with these teams playing earlier this month when the Hawks were a slight favorite against the Grizzlies and then Memphis won by 39. That line was absolutely ridiculous in the moment and I wish I would’ve went even higher units on that one. While tonight is not quite that level of ridiculousness with the betting line, it’s pretty dang close.

The Grizzlies are favored here by -6.5 which is crazy when you consider that Trae Young is listed as questionable for this one. The Hawks are 2-4 over their past six games and I just don’t see why this line isn’t double digits. The Grizzlies have their own injury issues, but they have Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks and Jonas Valanciunas playing who should be the three best players in this game. That’s an easy recipe for a win and I’m all over it here.

Memphis needs this one for the playoff race and I think they’ll get just that.

Sacramento Kings at Portland Trail Blazers Betting Tips:

The king is back in Portland and I just can’t bring myself to go against him. Portland is currently 3.5 games back of the Grizzlies for the 8th seed in the Western Conference and Damian Lillard is prepared to play a lot of minutes down the stretch to get them into that spot. The injury may have been a secret blessing for the team as C.J. McCollum really started to play well without him. If this team can get back to both of them being aggressive and putting up big points, I can see them getting into that 8th seed.

I wouldn’t count out the Kings though. They are 9-5 in the second half of the season and slowly making the climb up the standings. While they are only 9-16 as a road underdog, that number improves to 16-9 against the spread. They are a dangerous team against the spread as they also have a 20-12 ATS record in road games.

What I don’t think that we’ll see tonight is any defense. The Blazers are smaller and have to score a lot to get it done. While the Kings also like to play fast. This is a high total, but these two teams played back in December and had a 127-116 final score. I think they can hit that level again and with Dame returning to the home crowd, I think it’s very likely.
