The Swiss Super League is wrapping up with two more games taking place before the season end.
Young Boys have convincingly won the title and seem to have taken their foot off the pedal a little. FC Basel have wrapped up second place and the additional Champions League spot.
There’s still a huge battle for the Europa League spots however with two spots available within the league qualification, and really 6 teams who can make it.
I love the Swiss Super League in terms of when one or two teams are dominant. It makes it exciting as Sion for example can still be relegated, but can also win two games and mathematically make the Europa League qualification spot.
Should be a fun end to the season. In the Swiss Cup, FC Basel beat FC Thun last Sunday which I beleive means FC Thun are in the Europa League regardless.

FC Thun are at home in this contest. They’ve been on a brutal run of form at the moment with just one win in their last 11 league games. That’s not good.
FC Basel just beat them in the Swiss Cup and are an excellent away side.
It’s a more important game for FC Thun but really they are just a nightmare at the moment. They did play a bit better against FC Basel in the cup but they’ve got the worst form in the league right now.
It just depends on what Basel feel they have to play for but I think they’d put in a performance. FC Thun probably just want this season to end at this point.

Grasshopers vs FC Sion Betting Tips:
Grasshoppers are relegated and it’s been a long time since they lat won a game. But they’ve put in decent enough performances at home.
They’re going against an FC Sion team who are struggling to score at the moment. Generally a good team away their offense has ran out on them at a crucial time.
I don’t think Sion have to worry about the relegation playoff. They got that crucial win over Neuchatel Xamax to give them breathing room. Lugano will be a tough test for Neuchatel as well.
I think this will end up being a rather dull affair. I was going to take the draw but the odds on the under are too good for me to ignore. Maybe they think Sion will thump them but it’s hard to see that with the way Sion are playing lately.
