We finish up week seven of the NFL season with a Monday Night match-up between the Giants and Falcons. We’ve had a nice week in NFL with a win on Thursday and a 3-1 record yesterday. Let’s keep that rolling here.

The Giants have two of the more exciting players in the game in Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham, but with Eli Manning behind center and the rest of the team not being much help they’ve been one of the worst teams in the league and look like they are headed for a top-5 draft pick.

Atlanta is not that far removed from being a Super Bowl favorite, but they currently sit at 2-4 and are on the outside looking in on the playoffs. Matt Ryan has been excellent this season and it’s mostly been the defense that has had issues.

Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants Betting Tips:

Looking at this line, it almost feels like a trap. Why are the Falcons only -4? The Giants have been terrible this season and they are on the road. Matt Ryan is one of the better primetime quarterbacks in this league with a 19-9 ATS record.

The story of this game will be the Falcons offense. The defense has been so decimated by injuries that they’ve needed to be more amazing than usual to get things done. I think that’ll be rather easy to do against this Giants defense and they’ll win here. As long as the Falcons can hold it together against the run game, I think they win easy.

Bet Falcons -4

NBA Betting Tips:

The weekend saw one of the crazier scenes we’ve seen in awhile as a fight broke out between the Lakers and Rockets. Brandon Ingram, Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo all got suspensions for their actions and the Lakers will be shorthanded for tonight’s match-up against the Spurs.

That said, LeBron’s Lakers are now 0-2 and desperate for their first win. They face the Spurs tonight and while I am a big fan of the Spurs as a team, I don’t like this match-up for them. The Lakers might not play their level of defense, but the offense is off the charts and they really have the athletes to run an older team like the Spurs off the court. Losing Ingram and Rondo hurts, but more time for Ball and Josh Hart with LeBron is a good thing and I can see this team rallying together tonight.

Bet Lakers +1

The Warriors are once again the best team in the NBA and tonight they face one of the worst. While Devin Booker is a future star and DeAndre Ayton looks to join him, this team should still be near the bottom of the league this year. They got the win on opening night, but were then blown out by Denver. The defense won’t be there, especially with Ayton, and this team should bleed points all season.

That’s not something you want to do when facing the Warriors who are one of the best offenses of all-time. This feels like it could be a big game for Klay Thompson as we’re yet to see that this season. This line should probably be in the teens, Warriors are going to roll.
