It’s a busy night in the NHL with 11 games on the board.
It was an interesting night last night. Penguins vs Bruins was a clinic with the Bruins coming out 6-4 winners. They have to travel to Montreal for todays game and have to wonder how much that took out of them.
Senators pulled off a big upset against the Rangers. Preds returned to business as usual, and the Coyotes got a tight but solid win over the Edmonton Oilers.
I’ll go through todays games, and pick where appropriate.
NHL Bets: November 6th, 2019
Hurricanes at Flyers: Flyers have had some exciting games lately and a solid offense. Hurricanes mathematically are one of the best and efficient offenses in the league. Canes goaltending often steps up but with the Flyers offense, I’m going with Over 6.5 Goals.
Senators at Islanders: The Senators offense has been doing great lately and it came to a head against the Rangers. Can this young team keep going on the back to back or not? I think the Islanders cover the handicap on this one. Islanders -1.5. They are just looking excellent.
Knights at Jackets: The wheels are coming off the bus in Columbus. Their offense can’t get it going. Knights have been an odd team though. This could be a sloppy poor game. Knights want to be on the road apparently but not sure that will affect them. No bet for me.
Bruins at Canadiens: Montreal have been an odd team this year and they have been inconsistent at the Bell Centre. However they are rested and I don’t know how much Bruins have left in the tank. However the price for the Habs win is too low for me if anything the Bruins have the value there. I’ll take Over 6 and I’ll also do a small value bet on Bruins win
Kings at Leafs: Kings offense is lighting it up at the moment. Leafs still without Tavares and that’s a big loss to their offense however they have still been able to score. I love the over on this one. Over 6 Goals one of my favourite plays of the day
Devils at Jets: Jets seem to be turning it around a wee bit which is important and a good time for them as they are at home for a few days. A crucial point of the season for them but the Devils are ticking too. Devils are tough to call as up until that Hurricanes game their offense took the night off away. The over is tempting but I just can’t back it based on Devils previous road games.
Avs at Stars: Avs going one way, Stars the other. Avs of course due to the injuries. Colin Wilson may still be out tonight. Hard to see by the efficient Stars and I’ll take the additional value. Stars in Reg. Great odds.
Coyotes at Flames: Coyotes are a solid price here. This is a coin flip type of game and they are way behind coinflip odds. Coyotes to Win
Blackhawks at Sharks: Enough value on the Hawks here at +140 to take them. Hawks win
Wild at Ducks: Ducks stuttering a bit lately. I’d like to back them here but I have low confidence in them at the moment especially after that Hawks result. No play.
Blues at Canucks: Blues are still hanging in there without Tarasenko but Canucks have value in their line they are looking excellent. Canucks to Win
