Just two games left in the UEFA Champions League group stages and all of the action kicks off this week.
Barcelona are the only team who have actually qualifed so far so there is still a lot to play for. Every single team can also still qualify for the Europa League which is good so it means a lot of very important games coming up.
Always nice betting wise as you know teams have something to play for and will care. At the beginning of it you can see teams be cautious etc so hopefully we can get some good bets out of it.

AEK Athens vs Ajax Betting Tips:
This is one of those weird games where I’ve spent awhile examining it and even though nothing is really jumping out at me betting wise – everything I think of is contradictory – I just can’t help but bet it regardless.
AEK Athens are bottom of the group. They can still make the Europa but it’s very unlikely. They’ve scored goals in just one game and been held to three shutouts out of four.
I think their spirit has to be gone. Ajax meanwhile will be happy enough with a point in this one but could also try and steal a win to qualfiy regardless.
A loss would be disastrous so I think they’d play a tight game. AEK don’t have much going offensively and I think this will be a low scoring affair.

CSKA Moscow vs Viktoria Plzen Betting Tips:
While no-one has qualified yet it’s surely a given that Real Madrid and Roma both go through.
CSKA Moscow will be out for a win here to keep the chase on and more importantly to guarantee Europa league action next season.
Plzen have been very poor. They did manage to draw at CSKA at home when they played but everyone else has thumped them. CSKA were able to beat Real Madrid and had a tight one versus Roma so they deserve to be third.
I like CSKA Moscow to do the business here. Their defense is performing well in Russia at the moment and I think they can take this one.

Those are the only two jumping out at me. Very tempted by a Juventus/Man Utd double but man – just something about Man Utd really puts me off betting them. You just never know with them it seems. So frustrating to watch too and if I bet it I have to watch it ha.
