It’s Wednesday here at the SportsBettingTips.org offices and we’re a little bit late today in posting the tips as we were too busy getting excited for the baseball!

It’s Game 5 of the Jays vs Rangers series today and with a couple of us being Canadian – well we’re pretty swept up in it. We were debating going to the game but honestly we’re just too nervous and it’s better to relax at home and watch it we think.

That 7th inning. Holy crap.

Wednesday is always the golf day here at SBT and we’ve got 4 tournaments this week. The PGA 2015/2016 season starts off and Rory McIlroy is playing which is always exciting and fun to see.

WIthout further ado let’s get to the betting tips:

Frys.com Open Betting Picks:

Rory McIlroy and we’ll be betting half a unit bet on Rory to win this one.

Rory isn’t really playing this by choice – it’s more due to a deal from a couple of years ago he made with the PGA. But after the weak ending to the season Rory had, surely he’s going to see this one as an opportunity. No Spieth. No Day. Time for Rory to start the season off in a big way with a win.

Also going to take the 16/1 Hideki Matsuyama. Matsuyama has to be in contention for at least a top 5 spot here as he’s one of the best on the course and we’ll take him to win and each-way.

Finally we’re on Steven Bowditch. He came 2nd here last year and has been picking up in form lately. At 70/1 an easy bet to win and E/W.

Portugal Masters Betting Picks:

This tournament sucked last year due to the horrific rain. Weather doesn’t look good this year so only bet half or even a quarter of what you usually bet as it could be iffy. That’s what we’re doing.

We’re going with the 40/1 Ross Fisher to win and E/W. 2nd place a couple of years ago and he has excellent form on this course. When he plays well he can be excellent and if he can stay consistent he can get in the top 5.

We’re also on Thorbjorn Olesen who has had some big results lately. His results at this course aren’t amazing but with the way he has been play we wouldn’t be shocked to see a top 5 finish. Bet to win and E/W.

Finally for the Portugal Masters, we’re on the 45/1 Romain Wattel. Knows this course well. Take him to win and E/W.

LPGA Hanabank Championship Betting Picks:

Only one betting tip for this one which is Amy Yang. 30/1 and we’ll bet to win and E/W. Yang has played some excellent golf lately and she’s also played well here before.

San Antonio Championship Betting Picks:

Langer is the favourite for this Champions Tour event – will this be the one he finally wins? We hope not.

We’re taking Michael Allen 30/1 to get the win but also taking him E/W. he won here last year and we feel he has the ability to defend his championship.

A quarter unit bet on Kirk Triplett. He’s disappointed us a lot this season but he’s been solid here and actually only had a bad round at the SAS Championship otherwise he could have been in the Top 5.

Finally quarter unit on Kenny Perry hoping he can get back on track after a solid SAS Championship ruined by a -2 day.
