What a result that was for Glasgow Rangers yesterday!
Couldn’t quite believe it and made all the better by Celtic losing. I can’t get enough of watching Rangers play for the most part. Honestly it was tough to watch us for years and now we actually play good football. Love when we challenge teams up the pitch etc.
I’d lost all hope of catching up on Celtic this decade but I dunno – Gerrard is revitalizing the team and it’s still early days for him. I’m very impressed so far.
Anyway let’s tackle the EPL Tips for Saturday, October 5th and we’ll go with the SPL system as well and see what that has to say.
Burnley vs Huddersfield Betting Tips:
After a poor start to the season, Burnley have pushed themselves up the table and currently sit on 7 points out of 7 games.
They’ve managed to string together two wins with a solid 4-0 win against Bournemouth and then a 2-1 win away at Cardiff.
Huddersfield have been struggling and I don’t know if they’ll be motivated enough to win here. I just think Burnley have something going and their confidence will see them run out winners.

Leicester vs Everton Betting Tips:
Leicester have been strong offensively this season. Everton have been okay – they do have a good enough offense but haven’t been fully showing it.
However neither team have looked that solid defensively. At home Leicester average 2 goals a game and Everton know how to score away too. It looks like Vardy will be playing according to the leak from their lineup so I think Leicester can get the goals too.

SPL Betting Tips:
Using the same mathematical system as last week based on xg and other similar stats, All 0.5u bets. I’m going with:
Kilmarnock to win. Dundee coming off their first win and props to them for that but the stats still don’t look good. They were saved by the woodwork many times in that match. Killie are scoring at a higher rate of their xg value and I’m taking Kilmarnock to get the win. 1.83 odds.
Hibs -1. Hibs are a beast at home goalscoring wise and Hamilton are giving up a lot of chances. Really like a confident performance from Hibs here. 2.05 odds is a great price in my opinion.
Motherwell vs Livingston Under 2.5 Goals. Livingston have clean sheets in all but 2 games this season. Motherwells goalscoring stats of a goal a game look impressive but it’s been contained to just 3 games. 1.61 odds.
Celtic Over 2.5 Goals. That’s team goals. No team concedes more shots per game than St. Johnstone with 15.14. Celtic have the 2nd highest shot attempts and are just ready to destroy someone. Someones going to get an absolute hiding from the Tims soon and this might be the time even though Celtic are at away. 2.37 odds.
Hearts or Draw. Honestly stats aside this is a great price at 2.30. Hearts are performing very well at the moment. Based on the attack and defense metrics, Hearts get at least a goal in this game. However the Hearts defense is very good.
Aberdeen to win to Nil. St Mirren aren’t creating many goals or scoring them and Aberdeen have a solid defense. Like Aberdeen to keep a clean sheet and get a nice solid win here. 2.05 odds.
