The Pacific Links Hawaii Championship is a new course that was added to the Champions tour in 2012. It’s the Kapolei Golf Course in Kapolei, Hawaii. It’s been a notoriously tight course in the tour in terms of how close it is at the end. Willie Wood won in 2012 by 1 stroke, and last year Mark Wiebe was the victor thanks only to a playoff.

Let’s get to the betting tips:

Pacific Links Hawaii Championship Winner #1:Davis Love III

Seriously, how can you not bet Davis Love, who is making his debut in the Champions Tour? Him hitting the tour is awesome, and I can’t wait to see this 20-time PGA Tour winner. The guy just can’t resist Hawaii and he’s going to be in a good mood, feeling great and yeah – we just have to bet him here.

From a pure talent perspective, Davis is one of the best and the crowd are going to be cheering him on too more than anyone else on the course. Especially Vijay!

We just couldn’t justify NOT betting Davis Love III here.

Bet: Davis Love III to hit the Championship with a winning record. 14/1 odds on Love III at .

Pacific Links Hawaii Championship Winner #2: Jay Haas

Of the Top Schwab Cup Points Leaders, Jay Haas is the highest ranked golfer to be participating at the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship. He hasn’t won anything in the Championship yet this year, but he has had a lot of solid performances including 3rd place 3x in a row at the Regions Tradition, Senior PGA Championship and Principal Charity Classic.

Haas last played just 11 days ago at the Quebec Championship. He tied for 7th at -9, and that can be a tricky course. Sure he was off Dunlaps win of -14 by a fair bit, but Haas is a decent contender here.

At 25/1, he is worth a bet.

Bet: Jay Haas to win the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship at 25/1. You can bet on Haas at .

Pacific Links Hawaii Championship Winner #3: David Frost

This is a course that David Frost loves. Frost came in tied for 6, 3 off the leader last year and the year before was the same pretty much – tied at 4, 3 off the leader again.

There are a lot of contenders here, but Frost has what it takes to be up there with the likes of Vijay Singh.

The South African has had a return to form lately as well, with a -9 at the Shaw Charity Classic and a -9 at the Quebec Championship. These performances have been solid, and if Frost can continue this run then there’s always a good possibility he can take down the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship.

Bet: David Frost to win the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship. You can make this bet at 20/1 odds at .

PACIFIC LINKS RESULTS & ANALYSIS:

You are dead to us Davis Love!

Unfortunately he had a bad outing, with a 69 and 72 72 to end up at -3 overall. With 5th place being -16 yeah he did not cut it.

Jay Haas came so close with -14, but was off the mark and tied for 7th. David Frost played some solid golf and hit -12 but unfortunately others just played much ebtter.
