A 2-1 record last night.

The Yankees and Rays had quite the shootout. We took the over of 7.5 runs and they combined for six runs in the first inning. By that point it was just a matter of waiting and the runs did come, the Rays won 8-7 for the easy over.

The Brewers also won for us in an exciting 2-1 game. They clinched a playoff berth and put the Cardinals on the brink as they are now a game out of the Wild Card. St. Louis has a three game series against the Cubs to end the season which could see the Wild Card and NL Central winner decided.

The Diamondbacks have woken up at the wrong time and they’ve cost us two nights in a row. They beat up on the Dodgers and my fear of going against Zack Greinke was correct. Don’t do that.

A short schedule today and just one game that I like.

Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners Betting Tips:

Back when the Mariners looked like a playoff team, Marco Gonzales was a big part of the reason why. He has a 4.12 ERA/3.49 FIP on the season I really like him against this Rangers offense today. Texas has been struggling of late and they have just a 90 wRC+ against lefties on the season.

The Mariners offense should do well today as well as they face Ariel Jurado. He’s pitched nearly 50 innings so his 6.66 ERA/5.35 FIP has had more than enough time to straighten out. He is this guy, he is this bad. He doesn’t strike many out and is just filling time til the season ends. I like both ends of this one and will be laying the runs.

Bet Mariners -1.5 (+110)
