We had an extremely successful Russian Grand Prix, and I hope you all enjoyed the money on that!

We tipped Nico Rosberg to win and Rosberg did that with ease. What a start that was to the race too with Vettel going out so early. I thought he was going to kill someone – luckily he had 50+ laps to calm down.

We also cashed with Bottas who got the Top 6 Finish like we predicted, and then again with Fernando Alonso getting in the points.

Was good to have such an excellent 3-0 win over the Russian Grand Prix, and hopefully we can continue our fine form in the Spanish Grand Prix.

The Spanish Grand Prix has been won the most by Michael Schumacher at 6 times. Of the current drivers the only people who have won it multiple times is Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso. Of course Mercedes have won it the last two years with Nico Rosberg last year, and Lewis Hamilton the year prior.

After Rosbergs form lately, him and Hamilton are now both tied to win this one at 6/5 odds.

Let’s get to the F1 Spanish Grand Prix Betting Tips:

Spanish Grand Prix Points Finish: Kevin Magnussen

It’s not been the best year for Kevin Magnussen so far and driving the Renault, he’s just 12th in the points standings with 6 points. We like him to have a chance for a points finish in this one though and the odds are favourable.

Magussen is a very capable driver, and Renault are bringing a number of updates to the car for the start of the European Season. We also like everything we’ve seen from the pre season testing at this circuit, and although it’s a bit of a long shot we’re going to take Magnussen for the points finish.

Spanish Grand Prix Points Finish: Nico Hulkenburg

Another one we like to finish on the points is Hulkenburg. Again – pre season testing especially on the tyres was favourable for these guys. The last few races they’ve suffered from non performance related issues and we think everything is going to be solved this time around and Hulkenburg will get in the points.

Long Shot Bet:

We always love a long shot bet and this weeks bet is Bottas for a podium finish. If you look at past podium finishes here there is an incredible variance in who finishes on the podium so we think this 10/1 pick has a chance.

Without question Williams have the 4th fastest car and we could stake a claim for them having the 3rd fastest. On this circuit especially they’ve historically shown a lot of speed, and during testing they did a great job making the soft tyre last.

With Max Verstappen being near the front and the crazy starts we’ve seen so far this year, it’s entirely possible that Bottas can get on the podium. We have him priced at around 6/1 so 10/1 is a steal for that.
