Welcome to the Sports Tips for October 31st, 2018.

Happy Halloween to everyone and lets hope we don’t have any spooky sports results for the next few days.

Got a whole bunch to cover this week with this weeks golf, this weekends CFL and of course we’ll cover tonights NBA Action too.

Not touching the Hawks vs Canucks game tonight that one is a tricky one. Plus it’s on the West Coast which sucks as I’d love to be able to watch the game while handing out Halloween candy. Instead I’ll be fast asleep.

Right let’s get to it:

NBA Picks: October 31st

If you follow my site over at NBATips.net you’d know I went 3-0 last night. Hoping I can bring that momentum into tonight.

Only the one bet though and it is Jazz -5.5.

Jazz are rested and so far on this road trip they have been excellent. One of those teams where everyone seems to be performing fairly well. I mean Rudy Gobert looks unstoppable at the moment and we saw Crowder and Mitchell recently do the business.

I think their defense will do an excellent job stuffing the Timberwolves and should do better when it comes to the rebounds. All of that suggests a 10-12 point win in my opinion.

Derrick Favors is also “available to play”. Whether he will or not we will see. Honestly I’d be happy if he doesn’t. Loved what Crowder was doing and he will be motivated. Guess we will see.

Bet the Jazz yo.

Golf Picks:

Two tournaments this week. Shriners Open and the Turkish Airlines Open.

First one is Shriners Open. All the picks this week BTW are to win and top 5 finish. Two separate bets or if you are in Europe do an e/w bet.

In the Shriners I’m going with Scott Piercy and Ryan Moore.

Piercy is in form after a solid outing a the CJ Cup that I quite enjoyed. He’s also performed well at this course and finished in the top 10 thrice. Man I love the word “thrice”. I saw his odds drop as this week he opened at 66/1 and was bet down to 55/1 so clearly I’m not the only one that likes him.

A prior winner here Ryan Moore will turn up one week then not the next. Backing him to turn up here at a course he enjoys and I loved that performance at the Safeway Open. This course requires good driving accuracy and he bring sthat.

In the Turkish Airlines Open I’ve got picks on Thorbjorn Oleson, Andrea Pavan, Ashley Chesters and Kiradech Aphibarnrat.

Olesen turned in a good show at the WGC wnd with Rose causing all the odds of everyone else to drop he has value.

Pavan hasn’t played this course before but I like what he is capable of and think he can get a result.

Chester also never played here but I think suits it.

Aphibarnrat coming in off a good WGC performance and knows what to expect from this course.

CFL Week 21 Picks:

Playoffs all decided in regard to who is making it through or not. So I would advice just small bets.

I’m on Argonauts +7. I mean Ottawa have it locked up and after a piss poor season I like Toronto to put in maximum effort here.

Have to go with Blue Bombers +5.5 as they are a team that want to keep the winning going all the way to the playoffs. Eskimos probably just want the season over with after their disastrous second half. I remember when they looked like the best team in the CFL.

Finally on Alouettes +6 as pretty sure Hamilton just want to wrap their players in bubble wrap for the next week.
