A profitable day on Sunday.

We had Arsenal -1.5 meaning they would have to win by 2 goals at least. I was actually debating that one or Arsenal HT/FT. Luckily I went with the handicap as it took until the second half for Arsenal to get going. They ended up winning 4-0 though with a big second half.

In Serie A, we had Verona Draw No Bet and it was a draw with Udinese meaning no bet there and we get a refund of our bet and lose nothing. That was a good game and quite close.

We had Napoli to get back on track with a win over Cagliari and they delivered there.

The raise for the Serie A Title saw Juventus beat 10 men Brescia 2-0. Inter dropped points in the big one after Ashley Young opened the scoring, as they lost 2-1. Juventus are back on top with 57 points, Lazio on 56 and Inter on 54. Tight tight tight.

We’ll look ahead to the UEFA Champions League games today that take place on Tuesday, February 18th. That’s Atletico Madrid hosting Liverpool, and Dortmund vs PSG.

Let’s get to it:

Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool Betting Tips:

Atletico Madrid come into this clash 4th in La Liga with a 10-10-4 record. They have struggled a bit lately domestically with just 1 win in their last 5 games. They even lost to lowly Elbar.

In the Champions League itself, they finished 2nd to Juventus. No shame there. However they did lose away to Leverkusen, although they got a draw at home to Juventus and are unbeaten in the campaign at home this season. Domestically they have a 7-4-1 record at home.

Liverpool are Liverpool. Pretty much already your 2019/2020 English Premier League Champions. Their Champions League run got off to a bad start with a 2-0 loss to Napoli. They fought back to win the group although couldn’t beat Napoli at home. Their only away first leg last season they got thumped by Barcelona but we know how that worked out.

Atletico Madrid are 3.50 underdogs to win the match. The draw is 3.30 with Liverpool 2.15 favourites.

For me, this is the right time for Liverpool to play Atletico Madrid and a great opportunity to get a convincing win to take back home. Madrid are in crisis right now. Their offensive area is a mess. They’re also missing Kieran Trippier which hurts.

Atletico Madrid defensively are solid. Their xGA is extremely low and it will take work for Liverpool to break them down. However Liverpool have never had issues this season breaking tight defensive teams down.

I’ve got to think Liverpool put on the pressure and come away with a victory in 90 minutes here. Even when they aren’t at their best(like that Norwich game) they still pull out the wins.

Borussuia Dortmund vs PSG Betting Tips:

Dortmund come into this clash currently 3rd in the Bundesliga although with the best goalscoring record. They just had a tough 4-3 loss to Leverkusen but bounced back with a 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. They came 2nd in Group F in the Champions League qualifiers which was impressive considering they beat out Inter Milan. They beat Inter and drew with Barcelona on their way to this.

PSG are top of Ligue 1 by 10 points. You have to go back to November when they last lost. They have had some slack defensive performances lately though with a 4-2 win over Lyon, and a 4-4 game with Amiens. They won Group A with a 5-1-0 record, with a 2-2 draw away to Real Madrid their only blemish.

Dortmund are 2.87 underdogs in this one. 3.75 for the draw, 2.30 for PSG to win.

It’s actually quite an interesting game. The sportsbooks expect a ton of goals with the over 2.5 goals set at 1.36.

That 0-0 draw against Barcelona has me wondering about the goals. However that was an anomaly looking at Dortmunds games against other top teams in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund are missing Marco Reus. PSG will be missing Neymar.

I’m almost tempted by the under. 3.20 odds for that. A lot of these clashes are very tight. However the way both teams play it’s hard to see that. I do think there is slight value. I may be humiliated when it ends up 4-4 but oh well I’d hate myself if I didn’t bet this one.

I’m going to split my bets here. I think Dortmund at home will be solid. They won’t want to go behind here. This is probably the hardest game to call for me so we’ll do small bets on both.

0.5u on Under 2.5 goals at 3.20 odds. 0.5u on the draw at 3.90 odds. Bet it at https://www.Bovada.lv
